Why this hotel? a few reasons. Fist it's a tidy hotel with humble but clean rooms.

Hotel Dwars is a little away from the immediate vicinity of the temple. That's a plus, as the ambient is quite and villagelike.

Secluded & safe place to park you car in the night. (compared to the public parking lot near the temple area). Even for the day time, park your car at the hotel permise and take an auto rickshaw ( about Rs30) to the temple.

Traveling with your extended family or friends? This hotel has a few interconnectable rooms. You may find this option rather convenient.

There's an attached vegetarian restaurant. Simple menu though.

Approx distances: 1½km from the Kukke temple. Subrahmanya Road railway station is about 10 km .  Kumaradhara River ghat 2 min walk.

They have the booking option online through their website (hoteldwara.com). You may want to compare rates & book at online booking portals like booking.com , makemytrip etc. Dwara is listed in a few hotel booking portals.

Hotel Vijay Comforts, located right next to Dawara is another good option. This is a much larger hotel. But with comparable facilities and location

When you drive from Gundya ( National highway) side to the hotel , both hotel Dwara and Vijay Comforts are on your right side. Immediately after you've cross the river, you'll see the giant Dwara arch, and you'll see these hotels. Kukke town is 1½km ahead.
